IDC Government Insights has released a new report, “Technology Selection: The Government Datacenter of the Future,” that explores how government datacenters are undergoing a once-in-a-generation shift, triggered by the rapid emergence of several key IT disrupters, as well as a set of catalysts from government organizations such as the Federal CIO Council, which has set specific targets for system consolidation and movement toward cloud services.
